This magazine challenges media conventions by replacing mainstream celebrity focus with an in-depth study of instrumental music. It represents student musicians as a disciplined, serious social group, subverting the typical "band geek" stereotypes found in popular culture.

How does your product engage with audiences and how would it be distributed as a real media text?

​This magazine engages with people interested in bands, music, and instruments by talking about the origins, fundamentals, and experiences of being in a wind ensemble.

How did your production skills develop throughout this project?

​Throughout this project, my ability to research topics has improved, as well as integrating my ideas and information into media form.

How did you integrate technologies – software, hardware and online – in this project?

I integrated these technologies in my project by using my devices to research on the web, as well as creating my magazine on a digital platform. ​
